Whether or not you were ever into grunge, the fact remains that Pearl Jam are an irrevocable part of Seattle’s local culture. On August 8 and 10, they’ll return home to play their first Seattle shows in five years at Safeco Field, in a giant charitable push to fight local homelessness. Both shows are, of course, sold out, but the band has been working to set up other ways you can support their efforts. Below, we've compiled all of the events this week that you can still go to—no Pearl Jam ticket required. Plus, find a list of special Pearl Jam food & drink specials (including some at Molly Moon's and Theo Chocolate) on our August flavors of the month post.
