The graduating class of 2020 has had an atypical spring semester, to say the least. And since large gatherings are still prohibited, students at local colleges like the University of Washington (whose commencement ceremony will take place virtually on Saturday, June 13) won't get to throw their caps in the air with their fellow classmates in the traditional sense. This is all to say: They deserve treats! Below, we've rounded up places celebrating grads with special takeout & delivery offerings, from Trophy Cupcakes to Zylberschtein's.

Cupcake Royale
Each location of the bakeshop and ice creamery has a School Spirit Dozen ($50) that comes with six chocolate and six vanilla cupcakes with vanilla frosting in customizable school colors. Order online for pickup and delivery.

Dick's Drive-In
Grads decked out in their caps and gowns can score one free hamburger or cheeseburger from any Dick's location through June 21.

Fuji Bakery
The Japanese-meets-French bakery has some very cute macarons adorned with tiny caps and diplomas. If you don't see them online, call ahead to preorder.

Lady Yum (Kirkland, Downtown, and SeaTac locations)
The macaron mavens at have 10-piece Grad Boxes for pickup or delivery, affectionately labeled with the message, "Eat, Drink, and Get a Job." They also have customizable Grad Towers with 30-170 macarons.

Metropolitan Grill
Snap a photo of your grad with the hashtag #TheMet2020Grad (or email info@TheMetropolitanGrill.com) to be entered in a giveaway to win a $100 Metropolitan Grill gift card, valid for curbside pickup or dine-in (they're reopening on June 17 and are taking reservations). The contest ends at midnight on June 14; the 10 winners will be announced on June 15.

Salt & Straw
The Portland-based ice cream chain can ship ice cream to grads all over the country. They suggest ordering pint packs ($65), which include five flavors and come in various themes (like a Pints of the Month pack, a Best-Sellers pack, and a Pick Your Pints pack).

Trophy Cupcakes
Generously frosted chocolate and vanilla cupcakes with caps and congratulatory messages are available by the dozen ($56). If you're gifting a UW grad, they also have Husky cupcakes in purple and gold sprinkles. Order online, or call ahead to make a custom order.

Zylberschtein's
Josh Grunig's Jewish deli is beloved for its pastrami sandwiches and lox bagels, but they also make custom cakes in school colors. Choose from Funfetti with vanilla buttercream and sprinkles, chocolate with dark chocolate ganache, or lemon with lemon curd and buttercream. Email to order a six-inch ($35) or eight-inch ($45) cake for pickup.
