The article failed to mention that in 2005 Alaska

For some reason my link didn't post. In 2005 Alaska fired it's baggage handlers and outsourced their jobs to Menzies.

I work at Sea-Tac. The tractors in the bagwell-the baggage handling area in the basement of the terminal-are still diesel and gasoline powered and fill the space with noxious exhaust emissions. I sometimes pass through there on the way to work and it burns my lungs. I can't imagine being in there all day.
