FREE LEONARD PELTIER--Long a symbol of the abuses of judicial due process, the case of Leonard Peltier continues to generate outrage against the U.S. government and its Native American policy. This rally is in support of clemency for Peltier, who has now been imprisoned for 24 years. Sylvester Park, Capitol Blvd, Olympia, noon.

AIDS WALK--Although AIDS has fallen out of the public eye lately--at least in the U.S., due to new developments in treatments and therapy regimens--the crisis is far from over.
