I'm currently reading Jonathan Lethem's Chronic City, and something about this - the phenomenon of the piece itself, and this guy's feelings about it - reminds me a lot of the chaldrons in that book.

The thing I L O V E the most about this work being on ebay is that there is the big "eBay Buyer Protection" banner telling me I'm protected from loss. I just dont know if it could get any better.
