So last night I'm rereading Susan Sontag's essay "In Plato's Cave" from the '70s when this stuck out at me:

Recently, photography has become almost as widely practiced an amusement as sex and dancing.

I'm thinking that thirty years later, sex and dancing barely hold a candle to picture-taking.

Amirite? (And what is the meaning of this?? Should we form a counterrevolution of sex and dancing?)

Data must be collected.

What do you do more?
