Patti Warashina has for years been one of the leading lights of Seattle ceramic sculpture, and her pieces are tidy and precise, but their strangeness has for me grown predictable.

But I had no idea about her prints. Howard House has a whole set of prints she made between 2005 and 2008 on display this month, and they remind me of Judith Schaechter. They're darker, messier, and more mischievous than the recent ceramics.
