Isabel Samaras's paintings (both sold) are in Roq La Rue's Tiger Tiger Burning Bright show, inspired by William Blake's awesome poem and in honor of 2010 as the Chinese Year of the Tiger.
RLR's Kirsten Anderson came up with the idea for the theme after she read last December about the death of the last wild Indochinese tiger. "Who would want to live in a world without tigers???" she said to me when I visited last week.
Check out the show, which has already raised thousands of dollars for David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and the Wildlife Conservation Society.
