Give Fictilis a chance: It’s a new gallery with great ideas. At the moment, it’s a pop-up copy shop stocked with ready-to-copy artworks. You can make a copy of anything that hangs on the walls—how many times have you wanted to do that at a museum or gallery but couldn’t? (You can also bring a piece to add.) Past shows at Fictilis (it opened in May, near all the other art in Pioneer Square) have included a live virtual shoot-out with the world’s 150 most successful living artists. An upcoming show, sometime in 2012, is billed this way: “Work that results in a cat face, but has an interesting way of getting there.” (Fictilis, 210 S Washington St, 552-0210, 1–6 pm, free to look, $1 for a copy of anything on the walls)
