"An artist from New York once told me that what struck him about Seattle was that on Monday mornings, people didn't talk about what art or theater or music they'd seen over the weekend." Wouldn't it be fairer to say that its because the art here is relatively lame, particularly compared to NY, and that maybe he was just trying to sugar coat it?
