Glass is an amorphous solid, not a liquid. It is perfectly solid at room temperatures. It does not "run" over time. Those stories about ancient cathedral windows flowing downward over the centuries are...untrue.

Once I saw the fine Jeweler maker, making solid gold into liquid gold then to solid gold again...and so and so..I was ten years old by that time,and impressed by the process.

That's some amazing intellectual gymnastics.

However, I think it's a mighty long walk to a mighty short drink.
