P.s. just finished Eric Schlosser's book about nuclear war at the dawn of the cold war era. Fun fact, the electric circuits and controls insidr Little Boy and Fat Man were powered by a car battery. The last step performed by the scientists before turning the bombs over to the AAF was to run to an auto parts store to buy a battery.
They were (the bombs) incredibly fragile and had a short shelf life.
So a fragile glass copy is actually very similar to the real thing.
