@1: imagine if republicans had "gotten over it", the way they're whining for us to do now, and actually allowed him to govern: filling judgeships, using the filibuster judiciously, not attacking his legitimacy as an American, and then electing the chief proponent of that racist bullshit to replace him. imagine if republicans hadn't bitten his hand every time he extended it. and he did extend it, even up to the end when they were conspiring with Putin.

oh stop your blubbering.
Trump wasn't elected by Republicans who didn't like Obama.
Trump was elected by Independents turned off by Hillary and Democrats who couldn't bring themselves to vote for Hillary.

Imagine if Obama had pursued Russia for meddling when it was happening, before the election, when it could have mattered, instead of assuming Hillary would win anyway and shirking his responsibility to protect the nation.

Obama was a poor President.

Garland would have been a bad justice.
The Republicans made no bones about the fact that they (the Senate) did not consent to him being put on the Court.
The were open about the fact that they were going to put someone else on the Court if they won in 2016.
The voters heard and elected Trump.

If we spend any time imagining it is imagining what a shitty outcome a Hillary victory would have been, and thanking the maker everyday the voters were able to be heard.

@3: I disagree with nearly everything you wrote, and, as Slog's conservatives now like to say, "I worry about your mental health, seek professional help".
