I'm sure the art world must have had conversations about doing an art exhibition based on somebody's photos you picked up at a yard sale. Do you see the artistic authorship in the choice and curation of their photos? How about the consent, is that seen as implicit in losing control of the Polaroids?

Wish I could see this fascinating exhibit, but I live on the other side of the country. Art is all around us, and these polaroids help prove this.
