Someone needs to explain to Mary that The Planet is not in peril.
It will be just fine, thankx.
Those species on it that do not adapt to an (ever) changing planet?
THEY are in grave peril.

Even for climate change deniers, the exhibit offers a buffet of interesting colors and textures.

Please read "Cadillac Desert: the American West and It's Disappearing Water" by Marc Reisner. It is a bit dated and the author is biased but the basic story is true and it explains a lot about how we came to the present state we are in.
