When Grumpy first rose to fame, I recall her owner saying that Grumpy was actually a very mellow cat and didn't mind being handled. With those qualities and the iconic expression, it was a perfect combination. Her brother apparently was the shy surly one. Sorry to her the news girl, I'll pour one out for ya...

Rest in peace, Grumpy Cat. Kitty Heaven got another good one.

How many kitties fell victim to disease? Rest in Peace, young Tarter, there's a heaven for a G(rumpy Cat)

The fact that this pissed cat died from piss-related complications is somehow perfect, and ensures that her grumpiness will persist in Kitty Hell.

Grumpy Cat and Oolong the pancake bunny are in a private place of offline peace, I hope.

I hope she's smiling now that she's no longer being exploited for profit. That cat was under chronic stress, chronically traveling and being manhandled, held in places unknown to her and confronted by noisy, clueless strangers. Yet, this public abuse was allowed to persist.
In cat's, UTIs are linked to stress.

Yep, cats are amazingly vulnerable to stress-causes illnesses, including urinary crystals causing UTIs. Stress kills. I also wonder whether the "passed away peacefully [sic] … at home in the arms of her mommy" had anything to do with a vet's home visit with a lethal injection? That also kills.
