Anyway, unlike Charlie, my boyfriend at the time was a 'tasteful, conscienious fascist' skeptic of modern "Marxist anthropology" (the establishment take on the likeness of men, ie, race), WWII history, but also a vociferous critic of "kooks" yapping on about creationism, flouride, 9-11,chemtrails, etc. Charlie Krafft, however, beyond being certainly un-PC, was NOT a fascist. Germany knew of the British and French treaties prior to invading Poland so they also knew that the invasion would be considered an Act of War against Britain and France. You seemed to justify the invasion and occupation of France by the fact that they honored their treaty with Poland?
The only country that invaded and occupied other peaceful countries during WW2 was Germany and this was all in contravention of the current Geneva Conventions.

Many "borders" in the world are arbitrary. But there is a general understanding we know as "international law" that has at least some validity.
Just because people of German ethnicity or DNA are across a designated border is not justification for seizing that territory by war.
If that were the case then Mexico would be justified to retake the American SW. And China could lay claim to every "chinatown" in the USA.

Go back further to around 52 BC when Julius Caesar swept through "europe" all the way to what is now England. He encountered a landscape populated by hundreds of tribal groups. He went up into the "germanic" regions too. What you are talking about here really is the tribal history of Europe, which is still present in many ways.
Sure, this evolved into feudal city states and the like, but it was still very present at the end of the 19th century when there was no "germany" or "italy" and even france didnt have a national language but many regional dialects. I've known Sir Charles for over a decade. I've never known him to be anything but true to himself, true to me, true to those we 've tripped across in our perigrinations. I'm tending to strongly agree with #162 here. I too have known Charlie for many years; I've had him to my home and I will continue to extend that invitation. I made up my mind about Charles long ago, when he calmly described abandoning his wife and son to enter that vaunted LaConner-hippie phase of his life. Such a choice was and remains anathema to me, but I saw then that this was truly a student of Buddhism, merely filtered through a distinctly Nietzchian prism; I felt that I could either judge him, or embrace and hope to understand --- or at least contextualize --- him. I chose the latter, and I'm happy I did, because he is a complex man, and so few really are. He has a different relationship to history than people who are principally unconcerned with posterity, as Charles very passionately (in his curious, dispassionate fashion) is. I know he enjoys all this, which is as satisfying as it is perverse.

A short anecdote: Charlie and I sat in the living room of some well-known collectors who, incidentally, have a version of the Hitler-teapot pictured in this article sitting on a mantle; he casually mentioned that he was thinking about building a to-scale version of a gas-chamber out of Torahs. We laughed and laughed and laughed. Afterwards, I was -- as I remain --- deeply ambivalent about this episode.

I do know about FBI coverups. Ruby Ridge, Waco, Fast & Furious; there's not shortage of them.

You are right, Mr. Caear, the Famous But Incompetent could well be covering up its illegal practices employed during the 1950s and 1960s to uncover communist subversion in the United States. Its COINTELPRO program to infiltrate and provoke "extremist" organizations was supposedly discontinued in 1971 due to public outrage at such practices.

Supposedly 6 million Jews were killed by Hitler and from all the Holocaust survivor stories I've read, it appears close to another 6 million fled Hitler. Now, according to historical demographics, there weren't even 6 million Jews in that part of Europe. The total number of slaves imported into the US has been reliably estimated as being around 20 to 30 million during the approximate 300 years we had slavery . This was far greater than the approximately 8 to 10 million Native Americans that were wiped out by the whites.
A large portion of slaves were of the Moslem religion although they were banned from practicing their religion in the United States.
