The eight annual experimental-music event Debacle Fest will take place May 28-30 at the new all-ages Belltown entertainment complex Black Mountain, the Crocodile‘s Back Bar, and Northwest Film Forum. Debacle spotlights adventurous musicians from the Northwest and California whose work encompasses drone, electronic music, avant-garde composition, improv, out rock, and other styles. The full lineup will be announced soon, but the May 28 Opening Ceremony at NWFF will feature audio/visual collaborations: Marisa Anderson and Jodi Darby, Marc Price and Coldbrew Collective, and Garek Druss and Nick Bartoletti.
