Tonight, April 1, Capitol Hill’s Bait Shop is planning an April Fool’s Day overhaul and transforming into a one-night-only “chain-themed restaurant and bar” called Derschangigan’s (named in honor of owner Linda Derschang of Linda’s, Oddfellows, King’s Hardware, et al). Guests can expect entirely new decor inspired by “vintage movie posters, old license plates, oversized playing cards, actual bags of trash, TMZ, and the band One Direction,” as well as Blooming Onion-style appetizers, Appletinis, and Tropical Blitz Spritzes.
Dershangingan’s “liquid cheese-soaked grand opening” begins today at 4 p.m.
