Becoming part-owner of TIDAL is a good idea... right?

• Calm down. Lil Wayne has not signed with Roc Nation. Over the weekend, the artist made a statement on stage at KMEL Summer Jam in Oakland, CA claiming he'd signed a deal with Jay Z. However, Cortez Byrant, Lil Wayne's manager, confirmed to Billboard this morning that Wayne was not referring to Roc Nation, but to TIDAL.

Lil Tunechi is now one of the co-owners in the extremely successful music streaming service. (Ahem.) Meanwhile, he continues to fight with his label, Cash Money, after suing them for $51 million in January. Tha Carter V—the new Lil Wayne album that is supposedly complete and being held hostage by Cash Money co-founder Birdman—has yet to see the light of day and has no expected release date. But hey, maybe Wayne will continue this streak of good-decision-making and start appearing on his girlfriend Christina Milian's reality show.

• Late Friday evening, former rapper Mykki Blanco announced his HIV positive status on Facebook as Pride weekend kicked off.

The artist, who identifies as multi-gendered, announced back in March that he would be forgoing music in favor of investigative journalism in support of LGBTQ politics. (Although, Rolling Stone is now saying that a new album is in the works.) Although Blanco expressed hesitation about how the disclosure of his HIV status would be received by the music industry, he responded to a fan's comment and said, "I just cant [sic] be an image living in fear having people call me brave and it being a lie."

• Although we're still awaiting news on that new album she mentioned, Janet Jackson has made good on her promise of a new world tour. The Unbreakable Tour will kick off in Vancouver on August 31. There's no Seattle date listed as yet, so I suggest you start making plans to cross the border. Tickets go on sale June 22.

• On Friday evening, Dave Grohl fell off the stage in Gothenburg, Sweden while the Foo Fighters were performing "Monkey Wrench." According to Stereogum, the band continued to play a series of covers while Grohl received medical attention. He came back to play "The Pretender" and truly prove his commitment to rocking before he REALLY had to leave the stage, as one probably should when their bones are askew.

On that note, Happy Monday.
