The Association of Writers & Writing Programs (AWP) is in town this week, bringing with it dozens of literary events. Tonightโ€™s must-attend party is a special AWP edition of the Breadline Performance Series, which has delivered the best of poetry, music, and prose to Capitol Hill for three years. Unfortunately, itโ€™s also the last-ever Breadline, but it features a long list of talent including local poets Roberto Carlos Ascalon and Michelle Penaloza, and musical guests Pears and DJ Windows95. If youโ€™re gonna go out, might as well go out on top. (Vermillion, 1508 11th Ave, vermillionseattle.com, 7 pm, free)
