The Seattle Tilth Harvest Fair is this Saturday. There you will find urban livestock (chickens! Goats! Bees!), a farmers market, demonstrations, music, workshops (grow mushrooms! Ferment foods!), book signings, and tasty snacks. All sorts of good stuff for the urban farmer. Also, you can bring the apples off your tree and put them in the cider press.
I went last year—I bought some local honey and touched a pygmy goat.
