Patton Oswalt has been on sitcoms (The King of Queens), he has been in Pixar movies (Ratatouille), and he has written a book (Zombie Spaceship Wasteland) that is not just a good book for a comic—it is a legitimately good book for a book. But Oswalt is, above everything else, a standup comedian. And unlike other comics of his stature (his figurative genius comic stature, not his physical flesh Weeble stature), he never gets lazy. He only gets better. He is the best. Go see him. (Moore Theatre, 1932 Second Ave, 877-784-4849, 7 and 9:30 pm, $23, all ages)
