“Cain Morehead, the City Market sign artist and band member of the Navins was interviewed on Wolf Blitzer’s Situation Room on CNN yesterday,” writes Slog Tipper Escoff. “The interview was about his Casey Anthony sign that is in front of the City Market on Capitol Hill. They also featured some of his other signs from the Flickr fan website. A local artist that creates disposable art went national! That’s news!”

Fun side fact: Our tipper placed the City Market on ‘Capital Hill,’ but I fixed it, because, you know, I don’t want him to incur the wrath of Lisa Dank.

  1. Holy mackerel, a googling indicates the photo is everywhere. Sad it’s being used by everyone howling for her blood, but rock on Cain!

  2. It’s nice to know that Seattle has a new Super-Heroine, correcting the misspellings of local Seattle neighborhoods. Of course, if she wants to catch on, she should branch out to other things, like improper use of apostrophes (its a good way to show it’s importance in writing.) She diligently could wipe out split infinitives. Clean up dangling participles, singing on a Saturday night. The possibilities are endless.

    Whatch, out bad writers: Dank is you onto be going.

  4. I am so relieved to hear the countinous digs at Lisa Dank on Slog. As a dog owner it’s so nice to know that Seattle has your back when you want your dog back. Lou? We got you home!
