SECOND ANNUAL HALLOWEEN FETISH BALL

A dance party and fetish fashion show (rowr!) with music by DJ End and DJ Seraphin. Heaven, 172 S Washington St, 9 pm, $10 with costume/$15 without, 21+.

ZOMBIE PROM '08

With burlesque performances, a visit from the undead, and live music by the Panda Conspiracy, the Staxx Brothers, C-Leb & A-Bro, and Lucky Brown. King Cat Theater, 2130 Sixth Ave, 9 pm, $15 adv/$20 DOS/$25 VIP, 21+.

EIGHTH ANNUAL MESSQUERADE

The evening starts at 7 pm with a bike scavenger hunt (which begins in a parking lot on Capitol Hill at 1420 10th Ave) and ends with a dance party at the finish line at 2407 First Ave (alley entrance). There will be live music by Madraso, Sprinkles, Georgetown Orbits, DJs Grimus and A2Z, a pumpkin toss, zombies, prizes, and beer. 2407 First Ave (alley entrance), www.messmannsmessquerade.net, $20 scavenger hunt and party/$5 party only/$3 with costume, 21+.

ARADIA'S CD RELEASE PARTY & HALLOWEEN BASH

ROCK BOTTOM'S FIFTH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN BASH

With live music by Loud Mouth Blonde, drink specials and giveaways, and a $300 cash prize for best costume. Rock Bottom Brewery, 550 106th Ave NE #103, 9:30 pm, 21+.

HALLOWEEN PARTY AT THE MINE

With music by Blanket Truth, Elephant Kiss, iji, Orcateers, Webelos, and a Misfits/Operation Ivy/Minor Threat cover band. Proceeds benefit Left Bank Books (to go towards their distribution debt). The Mine, 5113 Russell Ave NW, 8 pm, $6 suggested donation.

DIRTY HOLLYWOOD AND GENE'S ADDICTION

Dirty Hollywood performs a tribute to Motley Crue and Gene's Addiction pays tribute to Kiss—with make-up, wigs, etc. There will be prizes for best costume. Rocksport Bar & Grill, 4209 SW Alaska St, 10 pm, $7 adv/$10 DOS, 21+.

SEVENTH ANNUAL HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR

JOKETELLERS UNION HALLOWEEN COMEDY SHOW

Tonight's list of funny-folk include Brett Hamil, Anthony Harlem Blu, and other local comedians. Faire Gallery Café, 1351 E Olive Way, 8:30 pm, free.

HIPHOP AGAINST VIOLENCE

Halloween night's hiphop show features performances by A.K., B-Heezy, Json, Mr. Von, Logics, and more. The event aims to raise awareness and speak out against street violence. Q Café, 3223 15th Ave W, 7:30 pm, $6, all ages.

HALLOWEEN AT THE FUNHOUSE

Congratulations to Jay66 & Jolene! Two Funhouse regulars are tying the knot in the afternoon and then throwing a Halloween party/wedding reception with live music by Schmidtfits (Schmidtaholics playing Misfits covers), Monster Crash, 800 Octane, Success, and the Flanagan Precept. CELEBRITY COSTUME PARTY

The War Room's celebrity costume party will have a red-carpet entry littered with paparazzi, flying coffin giveaways, and a costume contest with $500 for first place. War Room, 722 E Pike St, $5 before 10 pm/$10 after, 21+.

GLAM ROCK COSTUME PARTY

Halloween at the Comet includes live music by Neon Nights, the Valkyries, Raz Rez, Man Plus, and a DJ dance party! The Comet, 922 E Pike St, 9 pm, $7, 21+.

¡VIVA OZ VEGAS!

The Can Can brings back their Second Annual Halloween Extravaganza with aerial acrobatics, burlesque, comedy, circus arts, and "glitzy game show glamour" and performances by Billy Joe Huels of the Dusty 45s, and many special guests. SECOND ANNUAL PARANORMAL PUB CRAWL

FREAK NIGHT XII

COSTUME CONTEST AND SANDS

Prizes for best group, scariest, sexiest, and most creative costumes as well as best male and best female. Just so this is incredibly clear. That gorgeous man dressed as Zed from Zardoz happens to be the handsome and illustrious Sven Henry Nelson. No recognition for his costume building skills was bestowed upon him last year. How dare you The Stranger and thank you for making amends.
