Bar Details

  • During the WTO, the riots reached to exactly across the street from Tini Bigs, at the corner of First Avenue and Denny Way; WTO delegates sat inside, smoking cigars and drinking martinis and watching the police teargas the protesters. And Tini Bigs makes a fine martini, with Bombay and Finlandia as the house pours, in extra-large 10-ounce stemware. There's also a fine selection of single-malt scotches. Prices are on the high side, but service is quick and the location is handy to Seattle Center and KeyArena.
  • Hours: 4 pm-1:45 am daily.
  • Happy Hour: Daily 4-6 pm ($5 specialty martinis, food specials).
  • Features: Happy Hour, Snacks Available and Outdoor Seating
  • Scene: Cocktail Lounge and Meat Market

yuck yuck yuck #2

I forgot to mention in my last post about our waitresses math skills. She messed up our clearly divided bill - (we marked our card payments to help her out) and she walked off with the cash portion. If you do go here, make sure you have cash because they obviously feel that credit is to much to handle.

yuck yuck yuck!!

I'd give it no stars if I could. The food was standard for pub grub, and all of our silverware was dirty. The worst part was the service. Our waitress ignored us as soon as we got there and acted too busy for our table while hanging out at the bar. She'd look over but not COME over or disappear after delivering our drinks before we could order anything else. When one of us finally decided to go up to the bar to order a drink, the bartender told her she needed to wait but then made drinks for other people who went straight to the bar like she had. You should definitely consider checking out somewhere else before coming here. It's not worth it.

Solidly Consistent

I tend to visit Tini Bigs Sun-Thurs like the professional drinker I am. The staff seem enthusiastic which is a plus. The Bartenders seem to be knowledgeable about obscure sprits and the list of Martini's is endless. I've always been treated well there, without being pretentious or over serviced, I don't have a server pushing the endless specials or dessert to me, or telling me what wine is paired with my Flat Iron Steak, Thank god. I reccommend it highly for those that look for another path to enjoying a good (Big) cocktail. Parking is easy They have Large Martini's No reservations taken Piped in Jazz It's exactly what a city/neighborhood bar should be...consistent.

Very nice place!

Two friends and myself went there on a whim, and were pleasantly surprised! We were there during happy hour, and the list of martinis (which were $4) was pretty good. I got a sour apple type martini, and it was a bit strong. My friends got the peach and mango infused martinis, and you could barely taste the alcohol. Between the three of us with 4 drinks and 3 appetizers, it was $30 (not including tip, which we gave the waitor quite a bit of $$ since he was so charming!) We will for sure be going back there. But please note: when you are there during happy hour, and the sun is coming down, it casts a weird glare. But it would be an amazing spot for after dark. :)
