This place is the best Thai in Seattle. I keep trying other Thai places, only to be disappointed. The ingredients are so fresh. Special Chicken and Cashew Chicken are amazing dishes. The services is consistently quick and friendly. Jamjuree seems to be unbeatable in my book.

Best Thai on the Hill
Definitely the best thai on the Hill, maybe even in Seattle itself. The noodles have the right consistency, cooked, but not limp and they retain their texture in your mouth. The sauces are excellent, never bland but nothing overwhelming - the right balance. The veggies are fresh and crisp and complement the dishes rather than just being used as filler. I don't what sort of Pad See Iew the below reviewer enjoys, but the stuff made by Jamjuree is by far the best I've had in Seattle. The tom kah soup is delicious, with just the right amount of tang. Don't forget to get some of the Jamjuree fried rice either!

To Die For
This is the best Thai restaurant we have ever, ever tried. The vegetables are so fresh that you can hardly believe it, and the sauces are to curl up and die for! The service is fast and consistent. The ambiance is just fine - but you will be so focused on the fabulous food that you won't even notice whether there is ambiance or not. And well priced to boot. I recommend ordering a dish such as Green Beans with whatever meat or tofu you prefer, or Special Chicken in Curry Sauce (I think its number 24) with rice.

super tasty
It's all about the Tamarind Chicken. Tasty sauce with lovely veggies. If it weren't unseemly I would pick up the plate and drink the leftover sauce from the plate. As it is I just use what rice is left to mop up the sauce.

Really Folks?
Apparently, none of the above reviewers has ever ordered their Pad See Eww (sp?). I've tried, (really I've tried!) it three times there (I'm a glutton for punishment) and each time I've been saddened by the food I was served. Bad sauce, rubbery tofu (not in the good way), and overcooked veggies. How can you mess up a simple dish like that every time? Sure, people like their Pad Thai, but what about us crazy people who don't? We're out of luck? That's okay. I like Thai Star better anyway.
Also, their take-out takes too long. So there!

Bliss...Just wish so many people didn't love it..
The food is consistently good and well priced, (though, they could up the spices a bit; I'm a puss and can do 4's here with no problem). The service, is for the most part, quite good and the ambiance is fine. The main problem with Jamjuree is that it's too damn popular and it can be hard to get a table!

Gorgeous!
This must be where Pad Thai goes when it dies. It's sweet. It's spicy. Bring a shovel. And considering the usual truck stop decor of most Thai restaurants, it's gorgeous. Simply the best (and not in some Tina Turner kinda way).

I can't eat here again. I just can't do it!
What I want to know is who are all these people who love Jamjuree so much, and are they all relatives of the people who run it? I live so nearby that it was a default takeout location for quite a while, that is until a year or so ago when things went horribly awry. It was like they were having a contest to see how disgusting they could make the food and still stay open. The highlights? Watery, bland sauces, tough TOUGH meat, flabby rice, overcooked EVERYTHING. Bleah. Gross.

Our choice for Thai
We must have eaten or done take out there once a week for close to a couple years.
Even the phad thai, which I've long since ordering elsewhere, tastes good here. So much so I feel bad ordering it.
Their prices are on par with a good night out (you can do under 30 for two people), which makes it my favorite for Thai.

A consistently great meal
Definitely the best Thai on Capitol Hill hands down, if not the city. Great curries (duck panang curry!)and noodle dishes, vegetables are always fresh and beautifully colored, not overcooked and you gotta try their mango sticky rice when it's available. Outta sight! Another dish that's incredible is the Bangkok Chicken. Not on the regular menu but it's worth checking back to see if it's being offered.

best on the hill
Jamjuree is the best Thai on Capitol Hill. I've lived here for 10 years and have tried them all. I've also been to Thailand. My one minor complaint is that some of the dishes are a bit sweeter than they need to be. But otherwise, the food is authentic and consistently damn, damn good. I want some right now...

Really Good
Some people say this is the best thai food in Seattle. I'm not sure I would go that far, but I've never been disappointed with Jamjuree. Friendly service and good food - watch out during the dinner rush as it can sometimes be tricky to get a table.

Love this place.
This is great Thai food. The best thing is their lunch which is reasonable priced perfectly sized and comes with a little soup/salad.
My favorites are green beans w/chicken; fried rice; spicy noodle. But the curries are good too. I eat here once a week and never tire of it.
