I love Dive Bars as much as the next person, but i also like not getting a bitch attitude with the drink that i'm purchasing. It would maybe be a great bar without the side of attitude.

Go to Linda's and you might leave angry. and drunk.

Awesome bar

Really laid back, great music, and great service; and on top of all that they have a great happy hour and some tasty food. All in all one of the best bars on the hill.

Cant complain about the service cuz there wasnt any!

Unfortunatly I was dragged into this dump and trust me I will never go in there again. Also I met the owner Linda and she was so rude and just thinks her shit dont stink. And as I said you cant complain about the service cause there wasnt any! Then when we finally got our food it was cold and looked like it had been re-cooked a couple of times.I would rather eat off the local greyhound toilets than eat at this dive anyday.I got 2 words for this place HEALTH HAZARD.

Overrated, Too Crowded

There's nothing fun about having to spend your night pressed up against strangers, or pushing through them to find pockets of fresh air that do not exist. Too many hipsters. I can get the same beer and mixed drinks anywhere in town without having to deal with the crap. Oh, I also like how the 15 people standing outside smoking on your average weekend are just too cool to be inconvenienced to get the hell out of the way. Opt to walk straight into them and win.

Best Bar on Capitol Hill

I love this place. Great drinks and even better food. Summer weekends are pretty packed, but totally worth it. The back patio is awesome.

How do you burn grilled cheese?

I don't fucking know, but the dumb, knit-hat crackhead in the grill knows how! Fuck you, crackbaby. Going up the street to any number of 200 other places next time. Used to love this place, no more.

Chihuahua attitude, roach coach service

Ah, Linda’s. It seems only yesterday that I strolled into your warm, slightly musty, stale embrace, checked out the uncomfortably edgy seats, ordered a drink, waited for a good twenty minutes before ever seeing a waitress who asked if we knew what we wanted. Oh wait, it WAS yesterday. The experiences at Linda’s all seem to revolve around crappy service and overpriced, underliquored drinks served by a staff less concerned about getting food and booze to the patrons. Evidently decorated by a whimsically erratic barfly whose color choices seem to be designed to annihilate all hope. The bar itself hunkers down into the urbanite wannabe indierock hipster style, squatting there like a grunting hobo in an alleyway. Aside from the past experience with belligerent bartenders who will unplug the jukebox if your music selections don’t meet up with their taste in music, and an ambience midway between white trash roadhouse and cockroach hotel, Linda’s still seems to attract that woman of a certain age, carefully checking her over-applied makeup in the cracked bathroom mirror. The cougar is indeed alive, kicking, and seeking out young hot manmeat at Linda’s, and the mounted stuffed animals over the door, the walls, and the incredible spraying of kitsch over the entire place isn’t nearly enough to make up for the awful service, terrible food, the none-too-subtle stalking of the patrons by older women straining to keep the wrinkles in check, and short little bartending boys with more attitude than a rabid Chihuahua.

Overrated

Any place where I hear a "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" repeatedly at 9pm is out. Great when it's dead though - the jukebox is fantastic, and those bloody mary's *are* fantastic.

Nice...

The staff is great and the tunes are hot! Sunday brunch is a mess, but other than that, this place rocks...Try the Buffalo Bloody Mary....

Hip, pricey, crowded

There's barely space at the bar most weekends, and certainly no tables available. The drinks are stiff, but so is the service, and expect basic drinks to run you around $5-7. You can find a better place to get lit up, with actual available seating.

MMM Brunch

The brunch here is amazing - try the Cowgirl burrito and a PBR. Can't get enough!
