Restaurant Details

  • If you were to order the most standard Chinese meal you could think of from Genghis Khan, you might be both gratified and disappointed by the uneven results. The egg rolls and chicken wings are both crisp, golden, and greasy, exactly how you want them. The mu shu pork is pretty good, with a nice savory mix of meat, mushrooms, and crunchy vegetables, plus those this crepes that give the dish its essential parchmenty flavor. But the kung pao chicken and Szechuan eggplant were almost interchangeable, full of stir-fry filler (onions, green pepper, hot peppers), and the chicken seemed terribly naked without the usual crunchy coating. The garlic spinach was incredibly tasty, as was the house fried rice. Delivery service is fast and friendly to downtown, Pioneer Square, Belltown, First Hill, and Capitol Hill.

The food and service at this restaurant is terrible. There are too many other wonderful restaurants in Seattle to waste your time and money at Genghis Khan. I wish that I had gone to another restaurant!

bad food!

ABSOULTELY HORRIBLE. NOT ONLY DID I BLOW $30 ON THE WORST FOOD OF MY LIFE BUT THE CHOW MEIN WAS COLD, THE GENERAL TSO'S CHICKEN WAS LACED IN FRIED FAT AND THE RICE HAD MOLDY STUFF IN THEM. DO NOT EAT HERE.

"Good bad Chinese!"

This is great comfort chinese food. You know, the stuff that's starchy and overly Americanized. The wait for my delivery was an hour which seems exorbitant. But for being the only restaurant of their kind in downtown, I suppose it's to be expected. Nothing fancy, but it makes you happy. Mmm, sweet and sour chicken!
