No you don't. First of all, God didn't give you any rights - the US Constitution does. Second - what if your ideology is nazism and white power? Do you have a right as a parent to "be secured" (whatever that means) in knowing that the schools won't teach something opposite to that ideology?
Of course you don't. Don't be a ninny. You have a right to homeschool your kids. Otherwise they should be tought the appropriate lessons about civil rights.

Not speaking Spanish (or at least minimizing it) in front of English-speaking guests to me actually seems reasonable at a hotel.

I don't doubt it. I'm not saying that there aren't people who really benefit from medical marijuana and I'm all for it. I'm actually pro-legalization -- not just for medical but for anyone.
But I just don't like the general legalization movement is SO OBVIOUSLY using medical marijuana as a cover. It makes the whole thing look shady and disingenous at best.
If you took the medical marijuana movement at face value -- the numbers, the fake claims -- you'd think marijuana is a wonder drug. It's a big joke and it makes serious arguments for legalization HARDER.

It's not the internet - it's the photos. The common sense idea that you shouldn't be photographed in compromising situations pre-dates the internet. I went to college in the early nineties when the web wasn't a mainstream thing at all and nobody had digital cameras, yet i still didn't let people take pictures of me in compromising situations. Because i didn't want those photos in the world.
The net just makes it even worse.
