I have no problem with people who believe in miracles. If it helps you, that's fine. But believing isn't what's happening here - creating a belief that benefits the Catholic Church financially and politically, that's what's up. Preying on the poor and the desperate. And it's horrible and inhuman and unbelievably shitty, and if God is truly a thing, he is not on board.

It's a dumb movie, but it was working on this film that prompted her work with big cats. She runs a preserve in CA for big cats, elephants, and other exotic animals abused or with nowhere else to go.

I block any user with a "promoted" tweet, and then dismiss the tweet from my timeline. It's annoying, but doable.

And agree with #4 - I can avoid opening pictures in my feed at work, but not if they're already VISIBLE. Huge pain in the ass.

"Be thou not a dill-hole." Jesus said it. Or if he didn't, he sure as shit meant it.

I'd stopped eating fast food as a step towards better general health a few years ago. Then last year I found myself on a long car trip, desperately hungry, with a McDonalds the only option for miles. I got the nuggets, which I used to eat regularly, and within 30 minutes of eating was wracked with stomach cramps, cold sweat, and horrible gas. I haven't eaten there since.

Love is Not All, by Edna St. Vincent Millay

Love is not all: it is not meat nor drink
Nor slumber nor a roof against the rain;
Nor yet a floating spar to men that sink
And rise and sink and rise and sink again;
Love can not fill the thickened lung with breath,
Nor clean the blood, nor set the fractured bone;
Yet many a man is making friends with death
Even as I speak, for lack of love alone.
It well may be that in a difficult hour,
Pinned down by pain and moaning for release,
Or nagged by want past resolution's power,
I might be driven to sell your love for peace,
Or trade the memory of this night for food.
It well may be. I do not think I would.

As soon as I saw "I get cold sores" I thought, Coward! She screwed up by pussyfooting around the issue and letting him fuck her bareback. He screwed up by fucking her bareback and not asking "what does cold sores mean?"

They both wanted to get laid and ignored what they should have done. I think they're both dumb as shit.

I can't wait for next year's Winter Classic at the Big House. Why? Because considering how loudly Bettman is booed at EVERY ARENA IN THE LEAGUE, imagine how beautiful it will sound at a venue full of 100,000 people.

I laughed so hard I almost peed.
