Just arrived back to San Francisco after another great Decibel. Having grown up in Seattle before moving to Germany and subsequently SF its so amazing to see the scene that has come together around electronic music. Tip of the hat to all involved and I know I'll be back for another year.

Highlights: (Wed) Ben Klock, (Thurs) Natasha Kmeto, (Fri) Nicolas Jaar, (Sat) The rain and the crowd at Q ;) , (Sun) KiNK

Lowlights: Actress (big fan of his records but this was a bit of a baffling set), the sound at Showbox Sodo.

"The trend away from steady growth in driving is likely to be long-lasting – even once the economy recovers. Young people are driving less for a host of reasons – higher gas prices, new licensing laws, improvements in technology that support alternative transportation, and changes in Generation Y’s values and preferences – all factors that are likely to have an impact for years to come."
