I understand the 3 branches of government thing. What I lament is that on many campaigned upon issues he hasn't even tried. The man promised to close Guantanamo. He's the Commander in Chief. It ain't up to Congress. He totally wimped out on hea)thcare and other issues choosing the politics of compromise, ultimately seen as and exploited by the other side as weakness.
I think that those of us who broke into happy tears the night he won the election are entitled to a drop of disappointment - and skepticism.

US C.I.A. routinely reports that captured or killed despots are found to have had caches of antidepressants, sexual stimulants and porn. They did it with Noriega, they did it with Hussein. It's invariably part of a post-capture (or post-mortem) propaganda campaign to further (as if such was necessary) smear bad guys.
