@6, they make great dog chew toys--he probably got it at a pet store.

So wait. I'm all for providing safe spaces for LGBT folk but it kind of irks me when it happens all the sudden as if this harassment hasn't been happening to women for years and we had no real place to turn.

He ONLY gets charged for making and spreading child porn? Nothing for raping the girl?

Finland is fucking weird. So are the Fins. Spent 2 months traveling around there. Being in darkness for 6 months and having Russia as a border has done something to them.

I live in an apodment, and every one of my neighbors is a 20-30 something doing their own thing. I spend a lot of the days at home (I work nights), and it is quiet. I assume they are all at work, as I can hear the dude next door coughing when he is around. It's a great thing though, to be thought of as 'sketchy' as a white 20 something female college grad who couldn't afford anything else on the hill.

I love car2go, but used a zipcar today--if traffic is horrible you can count on a car2go being more expensive than an $8 an hour zipcar. Shoreline and back, $10 with zipcar. I've been stuck on traffic on Broadway in a car2go (had a lot of groceries or I would have just walked) and the trip ended up being $14. Kinda ridiculous for a trip from one end of Broadway to the other. I am also very frugal.

I'm about to move into one, and I'm actually relieved and excited. While sharing a kitchen isn't ideal, the fact that I was unable to find anything in the Cap Hill/Central District area where I would live alone for under $900 is kind of absurd. When I lived here 2 years ago, this wasn't the case--you could find random small apartments for around $500. I'm not sure I could live in an apodment for longer than a year, but I'm a broke college grad who is here to make money. Commuting 40+ minutes via bus isn't worth my time, and one of the reasons I moved back to Seattle from New York. They offer short term leases, some furniture, and convenient locations. You can't find that elsewhere right now unless you were willing to live with numerous other people. I think they're filling a need (I had to wait 2 months until one opened up), and not sure why people are complaining about them and not these crazy expensive condos that have been springing up on every corner.

If only she was a decent person to work for.

It's dark for 6 months of the year. What do you expect. When I was in Finland, everyone I met was strange.
