You are also forgetting that state liquor stores discriminate against us hard liquor drinkers. I am not a big drinker, but I don't like beer or wine. It's not fair to make me go to a special store with high prices and restrictive hours, whereas the the average frat boy and homeless person can get their drink of choice at 1am at their local mini-mart.

Four-Loko is not the villain here, it's just the cheapest, most alcoholic drink you can get at your average gas station or convenience store. If they ban it, or even raise the price, people will go back to drinking malt liquor and fortified wine.

Instead of freaking out and trying to use government to impose your values and opinions on everyone, take a moment to educate the kids in your life about alcohol.
