@23 I'll give you the composition, but dramatic and evocative it is not. The Nate Gowdy effect is that he's discovered a technique for over-processing his photos in a way that triggers your "dramatic and evocative" nerve whether the photos are dramatic and evocative or not. He could publish a photo of a drunk fratboy ordering a chalupa at taco bell at 2:15am that would evoke images of a civil rights march from the 60s. It doesn't seem to you that the supposed weight of all these photos is purely in the manipulation?
