Ate there just the other day for the first time (even though I've lived here my whole life) with some out of town guests. The mussels were outstanding (that broth!). The sablefish WAS excellent (though I didn't care for the sauce so much, not my style), and I thought the crab cake was alright, but my salmon with the Sampler was definitely overdone. The service was not great up to the point at which our real server showed up (the hostess and bar staff were too brisk and obviously apathetic for my taste), and she was awesome actually.
The chocolate cake was unreal, it was so good that I actually dreamt of it the next night. My primary qualm is that there's no parking unless you go valet, and I hate valet service. I was fairly happy altogether - but I also wasn't paying. Had I faced the bill, I would have not only been unimpressed, but furious. At prices like that, service should be impeccable and so should the food.

I'm not a superfan of the music, but anyone here disputing how hard Katie works or her character can suck balls. I've only worked with her once, long ago at Cornish, but she was professional, hardworking, exceedingly talented, and a pleasure to work with.
Those of you referring to her as a rich white girl with no talent have no idea what you're talking about.

Ray Tagavilla is definitely seductive and strange. And awesome. Good to see some good work around town again.

Margaret did what she was supposed to do and he shot her anyway. The people at the party did what they were supposed to be doing (partying down, of course) and he shot them anyway. He was supposed to be fairly stable after serving and he shot them anyway. Gun-control or not, seeing battle or not, veteran's resources or not - he shot them. This is not about politics. It's about the loss of a human life at the hand of a very disturbed individual. It is tragic and wasteful, and it could not have been reasonably prevented. Sometimes terrible things happen without reason. This is one of those times. I grieve for her family and friends, and I grieve for his. Mt. Rainier, I'm utterly head-over-heels in love with you. For the record, I think you did the right thing with this one.

Boom!s Year's Eve was fucking outrageously fun. Fictitious is getting better and better. And you just can't beat the prices of the ticket and drinks. I spent $40 all night.

I have always been with BECU. For twelve years I've been with BECU. You know how many times I've been charged an overdraft fee? Once. You know how many times I've incurred any kind of fee that I wasn't sure I deserved? Zero. You know how many times I've been dissatisfied with customer service? Zero.
When I was in Spain a few years ago (and this was my first time travelling internationally) and I forgot to tell them I'd be going (because I was an idiot and didn't know to) and they shut off my account (because we had an emergency and they saw a $400 charge from somewhere in Barcelona), I called, they told me next time I needed to go ahead and let them know I'd be out of country, and instead of putting me on hold while they fixed it, the woman stayed on the line and ASKED ME ABOUT MY TRIP. She talked to me for fifteen minutes while her fraud department was fixing my mistake about tapas and Gaudi, and when I was done telling her about how amazing the Alhambra was (because she didn't want to interrupt my talky ass), she said "Alright, Lauren. Everything is a go. Thank you for your patience with us, and I'm glad you called. Have fun in Spain, and take some pictures of Granada for me!"
Just one of hundreds of shining examples I personally have of the outstanding customer service I've encountered with credit unions. They don't spend all day fucking over their customers, so their customers are happy, and when we're happy, they're happy, and when they're happy, we're happy times a million. There is no. logical. explanation. for. banking. with. a. bank.
