The best food, a friendly bar, and live entertainment

I just love this placed.
They have amazing food. The best.
I also think they have an amazing Happy Hour menu (cheap and awesome food) and always enjoy the live entertainment.
The place is great for groups, I have brough co-workers to happy hour here and we love being able to move tables around in the lounge and still get all the benefits of happy hour at the bar. :) It's a great late night spot too... with a friendly local bar scene. Stop in and you'll be back often.

Disappointing

Adding some spices that they think are Italian to otherwise ordinary food doesn't make it Italian. The service was mediocre almost disinterested. I have been to many far better places in town.

ALWAYS satisfying

I've yet to have a bad meal at this place. The food is fresh, tasty and abundant, the service is warm and friendly, and the drinks are YUMMY! The cream sauce i'd love to bathe in. Sometimes we watch a movie while eating but mostly we enjoy visiting with the numerous regulars up at the bar. Chef/Owner Sean Langdon knows his way around food and creating a warm environment to dine in. Appetizer/Drink Specials are ALL DAY at the bar. The sliders here i'd venture to say ... are the BEST in town! And the meatballs!!

Won't go again.

The food my friend and I tried was not good. We went at happy hour and ordered about 5 different things including the caesar salad, sliders, clam/mussel bowl, mozzarella/focaccia plate...all were disappointing. Don't waste your time. Yuck.

Divas Show is HOTTTT

I had heard from a friend of ours about Divas burlesque on sundays at cafe amore. But at first i thought it was a joke. she told me about a FREE burlesque show...which is UNHEARD OF. But she was right.. the divas were all hot taking off their clothes set to very classy music. And Ryan Hazy as the MC was absolutely a delight. I recommend this show to everyone. the drinks are wonderful and the show is loads of fun. I cannot wait to come back again next weekend! I will also be sure to bring my dollar bills for the divas...they work their asses off. No pun intended

Just a great place!

My wife and i had heard about this place, so we thought we would give it a try, I mean the hype we figured could not be as good as the actual place. lets just say the hype is deffinatley justifiable. We had a great dinner with some very warm service, right off the start we were greeted as family, the food was well thought out and the artisitic presentation was wonderfull. The balsamic fillet is truely the best steak I have had in a very long time. The chef and i guess he is also the owner came to greet us and talk about our foods and was very passionate about what he has created, I await him to be on top chef, If i could say one thing of this Amore is that it is passionate! I highly suggest anyone wanting a great experience to go to Amore!!!!!

this is the shiznit!!

I went to Amore on friday the 14th of September, and WOW is about all I could utter after the show I saw and the food I ate. they had a real live cabaret and vaudeville show complete with burlesque, comedy and female impersonators. I had the best meal that i have ever eaten, Halibut linguine, it was a life changing experience served on a twelve inch round plate! the chef, Sean Langan even came out and asked how i liked everything. when i told him how impressed i was he even gave me a personal tour of the kitchen. What an immaculate, professional, well run kitchen. everything was being made from scratch and to order. you could eat off any surface in the place. I can't wait until this next weekend. I'm taking my parents outr for their 35th anniversary. What am I saying I'm going tonight!

New Caberet Show

I was in the audience premire night last Fiday(9/14). The ploaced was packed and the show started around 10:15pm. 2 hours, the entertainers kept the patrons entertained with humor, camp, Burlesque, drag and belly dancing! From the likes of Eartha Kitt, to Barbara Streisand, to to Cher, and comedy featuring Carol Channing. Live singing from the amusing host, and lip synch perfection from the rest of the cast. A very fun evening, followed by the late movie Rocky Horror Picture show! The food is to die for and very reasonable!!! I will be back!!

Great Food and Great Service

My co-workers and I went to Amore for happy hour and it was great. The antipasto and calamarie were really good, as is the peach belini. Our server was very nice too and split our gigantic bill for us.

Amore moving UP!

Amore' opened almost a year ago with ambitious plans to expand the connection Chef/Owner Sean had made in his closet sized space shared with Seattle Glass Blowing Studio. As one of his regular guests and a supplier of much of his food. I've been impressed on both counts. As a diner I've watched the staff professionalism develop marvelously. The kitchen continues to put out quality food and the restuarant is developing a healthy buzz. As a supplier to Amore it's refreshing to work with Sean. He has always insisted on the best quality raw materials while others are always looking to cut corners. I hope others check out Amore' and see what it's developed into, another quality Belltown spot but probably the best value around!

Just Like Family

Amore is the one place I can go to in Seattle that makes me feel like I'm back home. It's got the most subtle atmosphere with turned down lights, jazz lightly playing against silent films, and a group of people who just make you feel like Family. Whether you're looking for an exotic bite, or just some time to kill between 11 PM and 3 AM, Amore is Definitely THE place to chill.

Amore evokes passion...

Cafe Amore is the best kept secret in Seattle and I've eaten at a lot of different restaurants in town. The first time I dined at Amore I had the Pesto Chicken. It's now one of my favorites. Sean, the owner uses the freshest and as natural as possible ingredients in all his food. He makes everthing from scratch. Once you eat there you will notice Sean loves what he does and prepares each dish with passion. Their salads are awesome if you're looking for a light lunch or dinner, or try their Basil Salmon Limone for dinner. It will blow you away with a melody of flavors. Each bite has a slightly different taste. You'll have to try it yourself...wonderful experience. It's all about the food and Sean makes all his food with Passion.

Amazing Amore

My friend and I stopped by this Italian restaurant the other day for happy hour and we had so much fun! The appetizers are delicious and so inexpensive and the bartender pleased our taste buds with some of his special drinks! They play silent movies and it would be a perfect place to take your sweetie next time you head out on the town. Great for a quick bite to eat or for a few friends to share some laughs. Can't wait to go back :)

Amore Rocks

Spice is in fact Gone, Cafe Amore use to be the little tiny Cafe located in Seattle glass blowing Studios, The owner Chef Sean Langan moved to a much bigger space as this was well needed, The atmosphere from when you first walk in the door and are greeted is amazing, the service was very personable and the quality of food is 4 star, My date and i started out with the spinach dip, I had never has such flavors in a well thought out starter dish, I ordered the Misty Ilse fillet and i have to tell you it is the best fillet i had ever had and the sauce was incredible, The lazagna is not your traditional, The chef serves it in a pool of alfredo sauce, My heart melted at the first bite. Sean had done a truly great job in the old spice location. I have to tell you while we dined we watched the silent movie verrsion of the phantom of the opera. I highly suggest this place to everyone!!!! Sean you are a great gem and your restaurant is incredible!!!
