Women in peril—as you like them! Amanda Seyfried stars as Jill, a Portland woman who several years ago narrowly escaped from a serial killer who may or may not exist. When Jill’s sister goes missing and nobody believes her suspicions that the serial killer returned to finish the job, Jill takes the law into her own hands. Gone is aggressively generic, though with its on-location filming and somewhat competent acting, it would be the Best Lifetime Movie Ever Made. Ultimately, it’s a catalog of empty things—the script is logic-free, the characters are all red herrings, and Seyfried’s big, moony eyes are missing the necessary desperation. recommended
