This is my first time here. Lost a 20-month old son to hepatoblastoma 10 yrs ago. Another friend is now in final days. Does anyone have opinions on this treatment of hydrogen-peroxide therapy? I have read quite a bit and it sounds like it would work.Contour Ab Belt

Rude staff terrible atmosphere

I went to the High Dive on New Years eve with 9 friends. The place was way overcrowded. I couldn't move without someone putting there elbow in my back. The bartenders were polite and quick. Around 12:30 a friend of mine bumped my arm and I dropped my beer. The bouncer jumped in my face and started yelling who dropped that...Who dropped that?! I told him it was me and he yelled at me to go get something from the bartender to clean it up with. When I looked puzzled he cursed me out and told me to clean it or leave. Needless to say I left.

With Rob Marcus, Darrius Willrich and Furniture Girls opening for virtuoso Aaron Daniel, High Dive will definitely deserve a five star rating. This show will be incredible! Don't miss it!

Great for local bands

I'm not sure what happened with the four-piece described below. My band pulled 40-50 people on a Monday night, and we got $150. I'm not sure what the other bands got, but we had a great time. The sound guy (Rob) was excellent, and our friends all had a good time. The food is better than average for Seattle bars too.

4 stars

Obviously the reviewer below doesn't have a lot of experience playing shows.... 50 people x 5 dollars = 250 dollars. Door gets a little over ten per hour and sound guy gets 100 so... Bands split the remaining fifty bucks. I worked door for a while, that is how it works at a lot of places in Seattle. High Dive is good, used to play a lot in pinball and drink beer there. Food is above average.

ABSOLUTELY DEVOID OF CLASS

Supporting local music MY ASS!! More like lining the pockets of the owner. This place and it's website is a palace of BS. My friend played a show here and they easily brought in 40-50 people at $5 a head just in cover charge alone (not to mention bar sales). After he had to take a night off of work to play this skankhole for an hour they were INSULTED with a payout of...$11 FOR THE ENTIRE 4 PIECE BAND!!!! "High Dive thrives on its connection with bands and musicians. We love to support local and national talent on their road to success." U GOTTA BE SHITTIN' ME!!

love this bar

I love the High Dive!! They always have the newest liquor on the shelf..for example...absolut pear was available here before I saw it at any other bar. I love the way the bar is decorated also...plus they have a photo booth. Every time I've been here I leave completely hammered. The staff is super friendly as well. My only gripe is that the curtians in the ladies bathroom are a little awkward to deal with when blitzed..but hey, it's a bar!!
