• Okay, stay with us now: Little Uncle is a walk-up window of Thai-food deliciousness on Capitol Hill and a lunchtime brick-and-mortar restaurant in Pioneer Square, brought to you by former Lark sous-chef Wiley Frank and his wife, Poncharee Kounpungchart, also known as P.K., and also a chef. Little Uncle started as a pop-up at Licorous, before it closed (and became a bar called Canon); then it popped-up on Mondays at La Bête. Little Uncle also used to be called Shophouse, before national burrito chain Chipotle expropriated that name (for their Asian "concept"). Extra-confusingly, "Little Uncle" is P.K.’s father’s nickname.
