The Sitting Room feels like a European cafe—it’s cozy in winter and airy in summer, and it has you-look-gooood lighting and a zinc-topped bar. It’s a fine place to relax on an old-fashioned sofa while eating fancy-ish (yet affordable) small plates and drinking great drinks. If you’re going to the Uptown or On the Boards or anything at Seattle Center, go here before or after.

love it!

best bartenders and staff! great happy hour. more lively than you'd ever expect. going to make a <3day reservation, asap.

hot girls, got to say.

The waitresses and bartenders are the best looking in town. Great beer, too. The Belgians and Brits are the best in my opinion. Leffe, Hoegaarden, Newcastle on draught. Nice. Little hole in the wall spot that you'd like to find.

no more panini

you guys should update your review of the sitting room. they no longer have a full food menu (no duck salad, no panini) but they do have an extensive, eclectic small plate and specialty cocktail menu. it is definitely a french spot, bistro-ey and beautiful (NEW AMERICAN?--what the hell??) and the bartender was over-zealous enough to add a cornichon to my dry hendricks-tini! hell yeah, i love the sitting room. but damn it, get it right stranger staff. venture out of capitol hill a tad bit more often, pleease!

my favorite.

the sitting room has the best cocktail selection in queen anne. it also has pleasant service (hard to find in this area of the city, especially when drinking not dining.) the food is not much (frenchy SMALL plates) but the chartreuse cocktail, the blood orange white rum drink, the cafe martini, the pomegranate cosmopolitan! perfect way to brighten the supposedly summer day!!

hot staff, beautiful cocktails, yummy cheeses! perfect spring summer spot. btw, it is very french/euro-cafe in feel , not 'new american' where'd you get that classification???
