Strangercrombie 2010 is over! Thanks so much to everyone who donated to the auction and to everyone who placed a bid. You helped make Strangercrombie an overwhelming success.

This year, our auction benefited two very good causes: Childhaven and Downtown Emergency Service Center (you can read The Stranger's profile of these organizations here). We'll be back for more do-gooding for the holidays in 2011.

You Oughta Be in Pictures

Photographer Eliza Truitt has donated a family portrait session at the location of your choice. Want family photos of cupcake-eating? Or lobster-boiling? Or riding the bus and hitting up strangers for change? (Lil' Bobby has that orphan story down cold.) Truitt will make it happen. Includes two hours of photography and a set of approximately 60 4x6-inch prints, an 8x10-inch enlargement, and all the images on disc. Plus a large-format fine-art print (of your family or whatever you like) from Pound Printing. The print is 24x36 inches and can be matte, semi-gloss, high-gloss, or canvas. And since you're clearly art fans, your coffee table will welcome the addition of Todd Hido's striking monograph Between the Two, featuring 35 four-color plates, donated by the good people at Elliott Bay Book Company!
