BLAME IT ON DEL RIO—QUEEN FOR A DAY AUCTION
Tonight is all about one thing, and that thing is America's Next Drag Superstar™, who all the kids are calling JINKX MONSOON, um, I mean BIANCA DEL RIO. It seems that every other queen from season 6 has blown through town at this point—Courtney Act and Joslyn Fox and Laganja Estranja (and naturally Ben, duh, as she lives here) have all shown their painted faces 'round these parts of late, and it seems as if Bianca is finally done ignoring us at last. (Does she not know Seattle is the Drag Capital of the Universe? Gol, woman, get it together.) It also seems that she's making up for lost time, as she will be appearing/hostessing/performing at three distinct events. But don't worry! Each of these events takes place at one location—the Baltic Room—so there's no need to burn any fossil fuels chasing the queen around. The first of these events is the second annual Queen for a Day Drag Queen Auction (thrown by our friends at SinFinite Productions), where she will be hawking the padded asses of local drag queens for charity. Last year's (hosted by Michelle Visage) was tons of fun, and this year, 10 queens from Aleksa Manila to Isaac Scott to Mark Finley have their butts on the block. But PLEASE TO NOTE! The VIP passes that get you into all of Bianca's events tonight SOLD OUT in 10 minutes flat, but don't give up hope just yet! Mosey over to Slog right now and enter to win THE LAST TWO VIP ALL-ACCESS PASSES IN EXISTENCE! It gets you into the Queen for a Day Drag Queen Auction, Revolution Thursdays after that, and the VIP-only TOAST AND ROAST with a private performance by the queen of the hour. Are you feeling lucky? Baltic Room, 7 pm, $10, 21+.
HER NAME IS DEL RIO—REVOLUTION THURSDAYS
And then! Revolution Thursdays is where Bianca will be next, with a special and sure to be quite hilariously bitchy performance at midnight. But unlike every other Revolution Thursday, there will be a cover charge, and that's because the bitch totally won RuPaul's Drag Race, and so she gets the big bucks now. So don't forget to go to Slog and enter to win those all-access passes I mentioned above, damn it! You don't want to live with that on your conscience. Baltic Room, 10:30 pm, $15, 21+.
