I have NEVER wanted to read a true story about bipolar disorder, because there has been so much of it in my family. This illustrated novel sounds fantastic, and I DO want to read it!

One night a few years back, me and my buddy were walking towards Cafe Racer. We passed a group of people walking past Trading Musician in the opposite direction, laughing and having a great time. We knew some of the folks and said hello. After they went by, he socked me in the arm and said, "Dude, did you see that girl in the middle? That was Ellen Forney!" He said it like you were a rock star. Because you are.

Ellen was in my Sunday morning yoga class this past week and spoke briefly of her experiences and struggles. What an inspiration.

Ms. Forney is awesome and I also love Owen at Parlor F! He did my stomach tat, not easy because that area moves around a lot. He is very patient, a fine artist and a cool person.
