Green star Victory Lounge (Eastlake)

The Victory is (shockingly) a fine replacement for the longtime beloved dive the Lobo, with strong drinks, live shows (sometimes GLORIOUSLY LOUD), lots of hot dogs, comedy open mics, and (as they say) more, more, MORE!

Victory Trivia Night

Great questions, $2 per person towards cash prizes for first and second place (75% and 25% respectively) drink prizes for third place, play as an individual or on teams limited to six players, door prizes of cds, dvds and more.

Full Disclosure, in which I am a full believer, requires me to state that I am a friend of The Trivia Host. He has a great knowledge of movies, music, pop culture (he watches more than five tv shows a week), and an extensive sports repertoire. -tms

Victory is mine!

Let's be honest... It's not hard to say that the Victory is an improvement over the Lobo. So I'm not going to dwell on that (But I will say I'm not afraid to touch the door or walls in the restroom). First off, there are there are paninis, something you don't really see in a bar, granted they are a touch more than some places, but you get a nice organic greens salad with them... So that balances out the price. There is a healthy selection of beers both on tap and bottles. They kept the deck, but put in a nice juke. There is cool staff that knows what they're doing. They also put in some nice seeting, and changed the bar from a backwards U to an L. Much better that way... I'm sure for the bartenders too. Also, some nice TVs. I loved that they were showing the Tour De France as well... Little things that make the place stand out in a good way

GREAT JOB VICTORY LOUNGE

Just what this neighborhood needed! My wife & I recently moved to the area & were pleased to find the Victory Lounge one night. Their attention to detail, from customer service to the great cocktails, was totally on point! I would recommend checking out the "Power Hour" from 10pm-11pm everyday. It's 50% off all drinks, beers & wine. The food is somewhat limited but the sandwiches and baked potatos we had were delicious. We'll be back tomorrow!

"Victory is OURS!"

Though some miss the old "Lobo," the Victory Lounge has truly risen from it's ashes. It's like a "Cheers" "Friends" infused with a probative slice of Northwest culture, evidenced by the ecclectic mix of staff, clientele and overall feel of the bar. Classy without being pretentious, it's easy on the eyes & comfortable on the wallet - especially during the 10pm "Power Hour" (1/2 off EVERYTHING)! I could tell you about the decent drinks & food menu - but encourage you to come in and try it for yourselves. And although it's a fairly new joint, customers feel at home and find it easy to claim [the] Victory for their own...it's what a neighborhood bar hopes to be when it grows up.

Seattle freeze free

The place is an electic mix of the punk element that loved the previous incarnation of this place and a crowd I would only describe as "hipster lite". There's a level of friendly chatter I've not seen in other bars. The menu is good for an "I don't want to go anywhere else" bite but it is not a restaurant. Drink prices are par for the course. The decor could use a bit more spice but it's really easy to turn a nice place into a mess of clutter. Plenty of women come in despite being a "sports bar". Finally, it's a better description to call it a bar where all the games you care about are on, but the TV gets more than just ESPN.

Mariners Spot

I dig places like Victory for the simplicity. It's super chill and a casual spot to kick back after work. The open floor plan is inviting to me. I was @ Victory this past summer when the Mariners beat the Twins on a game winning home run in the bottom of the 9th inning so I'll never forget the great time I had that night w/ the bartenders and other patrons cheering the on Mariner's!

"V" is For Victory!

Three Cheers for the Victory Lounge! The place looks great, the tall booths are cozy enough for a first date and you can still belly up to the bar for some quick whit and banter with the hot bartenders. Truly a success story in the making! Way to go Victory Lounge, I will be back!

victorious

I loved the Victory Lounge, i hosted a party there recently and everything went over perfectly. The atmosphere was nice and cozy the drinks were good and it is in good central location. Victory is such a nice switch from Belltown, i also like to support the smaller neighborhood places. Two thumbs up!!!!
