This year's Seattle International Film Festival has three theaters that are accessible from three Link stations—Capitol Hill Station, Westlake Station, and Columbia City Station. The theaters are the Egyptian, Pacific Place, and Ark Lodge Cinemas, respectively. This kind of match has never happened before in the whole history of our city.

If you live in Columbia City, or near the Tukwila International Boulevard Station, or near the new and amazing University of Washington Station, you can access movies at the Egyptian with almost no hassle, no fear of traffic and road ragers, and the pleasure of a short walk between the theater and the station. Those near the Capitol Hill Station can make a very quick train trip to Pacific Place, and a longer one to the Ark Lodge Cinemas, which is in Columbia City but only begins showing SIFF films on June 3.

Some of the notable films to be shown at the Ark Lodge Cinemas are The Pretty Ones, Aisha, Maya Angelou: And Still I Rise. Tonight, the Egyptian will screen Presenting Princess Shaw at 7 p.m. (the documentary also screens tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Pacific Place). Also at Pike Place, there will be Douglas Sirk's A Scandal in Paris on Sunday at 1:30 pm.

SIFF is now linked.
