US Attorney General Jeff Sessions is testifying under oath right now in front of the House Judiciary Committee, where he will likely be discussing his contacts with Russians during the presidential campaignâand whether he has accurately described those contacts in the past.
Congresswoman Pramila Jayapal is the only House member from Washington on the committee, and as of this Facebook posting last night, she looks thrilled to be able ask Sessions some questions.
I will be questioning Jeff Sessions in committee tomorrow. The hearing starts at 7am PST/10am EST and we'll be streaming live on Facebook. pic.twitter.com/YUAp2LgwkE

Jayapal, as you might remember, filed a "resolution of inquiry" earlier this year to try and get the White House to turn over information about former FBI director Jim Comey's firingâthe first step, Jayapal said, to get the House Judiciary Committee to consider allegations of obstruction of justice from the Trump administration.
Each committee member gets five minutes to question Sessions directly.
