According to MobyLives, someone has made an iPhone app that virtually burns virtual books:
“Have you ever had the urge to burn a book? Well there’s never been a better time to exercise your freedom of expression with a nice and toasty bonfire and a good book! Choose from The Bible, The Koran, the Baha’i Writings and many more!
**Disclaimer** The creator of this app in no way condones the actual burning of books.”
Way to halfass this app, guys. If you were serious about it, you would let the user choose an e-book from their own library and watch as it burned down on the screen, with passages burning to cinders before their eyes. The kicker of a hypothetical ideal imaginary book-burning app? When you’re done burning the book, it’s gone from your library. This app you’ve made is no better than a fart app, a party trick. No real iPhone-using book-burning fascist would be caught dead using this thing.

I would just Like to say that if you looked a little more closely you would see that when you hit burn, the book doesnt burn it gives you a passage from that book and educates you on it, so it isnt a fascist app its an educational one, meant to spread different cultures all around, and get rid of actual book burning fascists.
”Any variations in the splendor which each of [the] Manifestations of the Light of God has shed upon the world should be ascribed not to any inherent superiority involved in the essential character of any one of them, but rather to the progressive capacity, the ever-increasing spiritual receptiveness, which mankind, in its progress towards maturity, has invariably manifested.”–Shoghi Effendi
