As a wise person once said, a revolution without dancing is not a revolution worth having. As other wise folk have told me, the Occupy Seattle protests turn into something special and amazing when there’s something for the masses to focus on and partake of together. So hurrah for tonight’s Occupy Seattle dance party, an officially permitted shindig featuring three hours of joyfully revolutionary dance music spun by Starborne Sound’s Michael Manahan, Uniting Souls’ Ramiro, and KEXP’s amazing DJ Riz Rollins. (Westlake Park, 401 Pine St, www.occupyseattle.org, 6 pm, free, all ages)
